How To Sign Up For Airbnb Account
Set Up Airbnb Account
In order to create an Airbnb account, go to airbnb.com/signup and fill out the form. Verify that you’re using a real, active email address. Messages from Airbnb will mostly be sent to this address.
As soon as you’ve signed up with Airbnb, you’ll be prompted to input billing information so that you may pay for things like listing fees and guest reservations (see below). Signing up for Airbnb is free of charge.
Verify Your Email Address
When creating an Airbnb host account, you will need to validate your email address. The inability to add listings or host guests to your account until you have your email validated shows just how important this step is.
After signing up, check your inbox for a confirmation email from Airbnb and click the link there to complete the account creation process. On the following page, you’ll be prompted to enter your personal details and select a password (keep this secret!). When you’re done, hit the “Verify” button at the bottom of the page. At this point, you should see the word “success” appear in this area of the screen, and you should be able to log in.
Complete Your Profile
After you open an account, the following step is to fill up your profile. Your profile picture is the first impression you’ll make on potential hosts, so make it a good one!
Your bio should also be concise, giving visitors a flavor of who you are and why they should book with you. Tell potential guests about the things you enjoy doing in your spare time and why they should choose your home over others.
Think about making a dedicated website for your listing(s). To save guests the trouble of searching in several different locations, these landing pages (or even whole websites) should have connections back to Airbnb.
Add Your Listing Details
After creating a basic Airbnb host account, the next step is to add the specifics of your listing. In order to add a listing:
- To create a new listing, visit the homepage and select “Add New Listing” from the menu at the top right.
- Type in the name and address of the property you own. In the event that you are handling several listings for different properties. There should be a price range shown here, along with any other pertinent information, such as features or images.
- The field’s purpose will be shown as soon as the mouse hovers over it. Below your current input, an explanation will appear. Once you have all the information in one place, you can use it to make sure everything runs well (note: some fields are self-explanatory).

Set Your House Rules

If you want them to be considered, they need to speak the same language as your listing. You can avoid reading a wall of text by breaking up a lengthy set of rules into manageable bullet points. Having clear and simple guidelines for the home can assist.

Choose Your Amenities & Location (Plus Some Listing Tips)
The next stage is picking the facilities and places essential for your guests. It would be nice if there were a kitchenette, a pool, and a breakfast delivery option. Providing extras like these might make your listing stand out from the competition and give your visitors the impression that they are receiving more for their money.
But please don’t go crazy with this step: having too many facilities will clutter your listing and make it appear amateurish. You want folks to see what they care about most when they visit your page: a great description of their ideal stay.
Please include the location; if nothing else, where is it? This way, potential visitors know whether or not the apartment is close enough for them before clicking on the ad! If you provide many rental locations, make sure each one has its specific URL so users can quickly browse between them.
Add Photos To Your Listing
The photos you choose to include on your listing will play a significant role in how successful it is. It’s important to remember that each image should be a close-up shot of just one thing: either the property itself or one of its amenities.
Adding multiple images of your rental property’s neighborhood is also a good idea. You can include photos of nearby attractions and businesses guests may want to check out while in town.
